Many is wanting to know why there not receiving there telephone statement or other statements and letter in their home post box as previously received reason for this could be because of the service delivery problem at the Post Itself and not the companies that usually send your statements or letters. Mali and the coup d’état (Overthrow of Government)

The people who overthrew the Mali Government went on state TV to mention there have seized control of the country and closed all borders.

A joint statement by African Development Bank and The World Bank:

“Our development operations are suspended, with the exception of emergency assistance.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely”.

“The United States condemns the military seizure of power in Mali. We echo the statements of the African Union, the Economic Community of West African States and other international partners denouncing these actions. We call for calm and the restoration of the civilian government under constitutional rule without delay, so that elections can proceed as scheduled.

The Gauteng tolls are an unaffordable expense that will affect everyone. Jobs will be lost. It is one tax too many, on top of the costs of electricity (More), water, refuse removal and rates.

The total cost of the e-tolling collection system will be R14 billion. That’s R14 billion plus the R20 billion spent on existing roads. And with 14% VAT charged on the toll fees we will be paying tax on top of tax. Enough is enough.

Tomorrow the 7th of March 2012 not only will people be striking to force the removal of the e-toll but as well as for banning of labour brokers.

The 27th Of December 2011 Tuesday has been declared as a public holiday in South Africa.

South Africa has 12 public holidays as determined by the Public Holidays Act (Act No 36 of 1994) [PDF]. The Act determines whenever any public holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following on it shall be a public holiday.
